SysWare is system management software for OpenVMS computer systems. SysWare consists of BAC/Plus backup management tool and the OpenVMS Job Scheduler.  SysWare is designed to be easy to use yet very powerful.

SysWare gives you hand-off processing for OpenVMS backups and Job Scheduling.  Once your backups and processing jobs are scheduled in SysWare  you can let SysWare take care of them.  You only have to handle exceptions and problems, greatly reducing your system management load.

The newest version of SysWare is 3.2-56.  This is a mandatory update.  In support customers can get the new version by downloading from our SysWare support site.  Out-of support customers can get this version by obtaining a current support contract.  For more information, call 509-466-9800.

Newer versions of OpenVMS and patch updates to older versions of OpenVMS have changed the way Backup works.  Version 3.2-56 fixes problems introduced by these changes.
